1. Delhi High Court in its judgment has allowed women to get permanent commission in Indian Navy and allowed them to board on warships.
2. Haryana legislative Assembly has passed Haryana Police (Amendment) Bill, 2015 to abolish the Police Recruitment Board. Now Gazetted posts in the police service would be filled through Haryana Public Service Commission and non-gazetted ranks in the police service would be filled through the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
3. In Asian Championships, Vikas only has won silver medal for India in 75kg weight category. Shiva Thapa (56kg), Devendro Singh (49kg) and Satish Kumar (+91kg) won bronze medal each in their respective category.
4. Prime Minister Narendra Modi released commemorative coins of 125 rupees and 10 rupees denomination in honour of former President S Radhakrishnan on teachers day.
