                   Indus Valley Civilization(2500 BC • 1500 BC)

Dietary fibre = roughage

Roughage is mainly provided by the food products in our body.

Whole grains, pulses and potatoes are the man sources of roughage. It does not provideany nutrient to our body but helps our body to get rid of undigested food.
